The Lintec Policy on Quality makes clear, both in-house and publicly, the company's approach to QC and QA. Forming its foundation is the pursuit of activities compatible with living in harmony with the natural environment, for cooperating with local and regional communities, for mutual prosperity, for marketing that prioritizes customer needs and puts quality first, for safety and the prevention of accidents. At the same time, the Lintec Policy on Quality forms the basis for composing quality policies at each factory. Based on our company motto and business philosophy, LINTEC has established a Quality Policy and Action Guidelines for quality in manufacturing, as outlined below. Our objective is the manufacturing of high-quality products that can be used with confidence by our customers. Harmony and technological development are the core of our business as reflected in the company motto, "Sincerity and Creativity" and the company name, LINTEC, which means "linkage" and "technology". We are, and will remain a strong and dynamic company that can contribute to society and be trusted by everyone in the industry, both in Japan and overseas. We lead the way with innovative ideas, bringing prosperity to our shareholders, customers, employees and their families. 1. Establish a quality system that will inspire confidence in customers. 2. All employees are responsible for implementing quality control measures and ensuring quality in their own work areas. 3. Always base your decisions on a consideration of the level of quality and service that are appropriate for the customer's intended use of our products. 4. Always be creative, accept the challenge of new technologies, and promote high-quality manufacturing. 5. Promote the manufacturing of high-quality products that can be reliably supplied at an appropriate price. 6. Promote the manufacturing of high-quality products that are environmentally friendly. 7. Promote the manufacturing of high-quality products with full consideration for the safety of those who will use them. 8. Actively gather relevant information from inside and outside the company, and aggressively adopt practices that you consider to be effective. 1. The President will announce these policies at companywide meetings (including Eastern Japan meetings, Western Japan meetings, plant manager meetings, technical liaison meetings, and production sales liaison meetings) and ensure that they are clearly understood and thoroughly implemented. 2. In production, marketing, and all other departments, these policies will be the basis for the formulation by the department leader of a department's own quality guidelines. The ultimate goal will be the achievement of "zero complaints" through an iterative process of setting specific objectives tailored to the conditions in each department and then working to meet them.
