| The Blu-ray disc is the next-generation, large
capacity optical disc format. Lintec's high quality adhesive
films play a vital role as components of the Blu-ray disc
(single-side/single-layer type), which offers a major increase
in recording capacity (27 GB), equivalent to approximately
six times the capacity of current DVDs (4.7 GB). |

| This is a highly transparent,
adhesive film with a cover layer thickness of 0.1mm.
Designed for use with large-capacity Blu-ray discs,
the optical film is pre-cut to match the shape of
the discs. The film can be used together with Lintec's
applicator for high precision application and stable
production of high quality discs. |

Stable Thickness Precision |
| |
Features extremely stable thickness precision
of 2μm or less. Achieves a cover layer of high thickness
precision, when compared with spin coating where the
use of a liquid solvent can easily result in coating
thickness differences at the inner and outer peripheries
of a disc. |
 |
High Productivity |
| |
Precut to the shape of a disc, this adhesive
tape-type product is ideal for volume production of
discs, and ensures high rates of productivity. |
 |
Contributes to Quality Maintenance
of Discs |
| |
The film helps maintain quality with its
corrosion/erosion-resistant adhesive, and other features
that include outstanding transparency, adhesion, and
tracking property with respect to grooves in the recording
layer. |
|
 |
 |
 |
| Lintec has developed a laminator that laminates
the cover layer to the disc substrate with high precision.
This unit offers high processing capacity (up to 15 sheets
per minute), thus capitalizing on the features of pre-cut
tape, while ensuring high accuracy application. It also
has a unique application mechanism that prevents disc warping
caused by the addition of tension during the application
process, thereby facilitating the stable production of
high quality discs. |
